As a community-driven fan project, your privacy is extremely important to us. Here is exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Data We Collect
To provide full functionality of the RPG and web dashboard, we collect the minimal amount of data necessary from the Discord API:
- Discord User ID: Used as the primary key to securely save your game progress in our database.
- Discord Username & Avatar: Displayed on leaderboards, in your profile, and on the dashboard header.
- In-Game Actions: We log data generated completely within the bot (e.g., your balance, items, level, stats, quest history, chat messages sent via web dashboard).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data exclusively to run the Nakama Bot experience:
- To load and save your progress.
- To authenticate your session securely on the web dashboard via Discord OAuth2.
- To prevent abuse (such as botting or exploiting).
3. Data Sharing & Selling
Because this is a non-profit fan project, we have absolutely zero incentive to harvest your data. We do not, and will never, sell, rent, or voluntarily share your data with any third parties or advertisers.
4. Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request the complete deletion of all your data stored in our database at any time. If you wish to permanently delete your Nakama Bot account and wipe your progress, please contact us at contact@nakama-bot.com or reach out to the developer directly via Discord. Once deleted, progress cannot be recovered.
